I just went out and bought ultima 6 for the IBM. Am running it on the VGA. Couldn't wait for the Amiga version... There have been a few improvements over the earlier Ultimas, but mainly, there seems to be more complications. My friend and I have just spent an hour trying to get out of Lord British's Castle! The interface features a few gadgets to click on, but is incredibly clunky and hard to figure out. We have only one key, and it doesn't`open any of the three doors. My friend has solved Ultima III and IV so far, so we're a little bit frustrated with the progress we're making.` If anyone can help us get out of the castle within the next hour, we'd really appreciate it. The way things are going, I think I'm going to take it back to the store, and MAYBE consider buying it when it comes out ont the amiga. Though the game supports VGA, it doesn't seem to capitalize on it very much. The same graphics could have been easily achieved with 32 colors on an amiga. Does anyone know where I can get an Ultima 6 cheater or solve file? I'm quickly becoming annoyed with this game.
