"Yeah, but I can't help feeling that there is something basically wrong with ANYONE who makes their living from the misfortunes of others (particularly lawyers)." With one stroke, you condemn doctors, rescue workers, teachers of handicapped children, morticians, and ministers, for they all make their living from the misfortunes of others. This is rather a shallow attitude. Life includes misfortunes. People need help dealing with them.
