Tell us more! What's the game about? How does it play? Graphics? Sound? Is it
worth the money?

Inquiring minds want to know. :)

I just bought this _INCREDIBLE_ game and am in absolute love with it. If
you haven't seen it, SEE it! Anyway, that's my spiel. Now for the question:

Does anybody know of a way to back up the disks? I'm really not looking
forward to screwing one of them up, and I'd like a set to fall back on if only
to occasionally restore the high-score file. I've scored a mere ~333000 so
far in about thirty total minutes of play, and thus haven't much desire to
save high scores, but my friends are egging me as their scores creep higher
and closer to 100000 (heh!)

Also, does anybody know of any undocumented features? How about maps that I
might be able to reference? Strategic hints?

Thanks in advance...

I bought this game in a fit of depression a couple of days ago hoping it would
make my pain disappear. Boy did it! Firstly, this game has the most
incredible introduction I have seen since SOB. I used to load up SOB
just to see the intro with the great music, etc. But this one takes the
cake! This game has a animated introduction with great sound and
realism, it's very difficult to explain but basically the game is a
combination of The Running Man, Robocop, and The Terminator. (I'm
talking about the movies...) You are a resistance leader that has been
captured by the 'bad-guys' and are about to be put in the blood bath
game for billions of peoples viewing pleasure. (eg Running Man) The
'bad-guys' have altered your body for the game, you now look like the
behemoth from Robocop that sent chills down all of our spines when it
spoke, you know, the one on two legs, huge, two large rotating guns on
each side, etc. That's you! So anyway, you are in these pits o' death
trying to escape while a multitude of things attempts to stop you. The
thing that eggs you on though is the fact that these pits are slowly
(actually fairly quickly) filling up with this liquid that will of
course kill you on contact. Anyway, you _must_ see the intro. The
graphics are very good (9 or a 10), the sound effect are good (8 or 9)
the music is very good (8 or 9), and overall it is the first Psygnosis
game I have played that is PLAYABLE. (There's even an instant replay
after you lose a life so you can pick back up where you messed up.)
(The water reflections are great too!)
After my first night I got to the first half of level 3, only 12 to go!
