I recently received Populous in a swap and all my Amigas have 68010s installed in them so I can't run it. Is there a way around this? I've tried SuperDeciGel. I'm sure this has been discussed before, so I'd ask for a mail reply except that mail isn't working. So try mail first, then if you must, post publically, but check first that there hasn't already been several replies. I do have the original packaging, original disk and even the warranty card. Also, last weekend at a convention I discovered a new (to me) game for the IBM and I was wondering about it's availability on the Amiga. It's called StarControl and as usual, it's nothing that couldn't be done better on the Amiga but it was very very playable and interesting. (it was running on a 20 Mhz '386 with a monitor which cost more than two of my Amigas put together, so you'd expect it to look pretty good...) It had both single-combat and campaign modes, and basically it had 14 different types of ships, each with totally unique types of weapons and defenses. It takes some time to learn the intracacies of all of them, but once you do it becomes a major part of the game selecting which ship to go against the enemy's current choice. There are also pictures of your pilot(s) on the side of the screen, who also display wide physiological variety, reacting by operating the controls in front of them as you work the joystick. Anyway, is it available for the Amiga? Will it be? On the Amiga they could give it decent sound... . <<<<Infinite K>>>> -- ** Please note that my mail feed is currently down; if you've sent me mail ** ** in the past three weeks, please try again until you get a reply.
