[comp.sys.amiga.games] German Star Trek Game

parker@cs.wvu.wvnet.edu (James Parker) (10/24/90)

Has anyone seen the Star Trek game from West Germany by Tobias Richter?
Better yet, does anyone have it to upload to an anon FTP site?

It seems as though this version has a NTSC patch by O. Wagner so US Amigas
can use it. The Trekkie in me would like to see this game and I would
_really_ appreciate it if someone who knows how I can get my hands on it
would let me in on the secret.

Thanks a million,

Parker

Bill,

I don't have access to PeopleLink :-( but would really like to see this
game. Could you put it on Xanth? Or, give me your address and I will
mail you some blank disks (with return postage) and I will place it on
Xanth. Can you think of a better solution?

I don't want you to go to too much trouble, but I NEED to play this
game.

Sorry for wasting bandwidth with this post, my retarted mailer had much
trouble locating you.

Thanks,

Parker

I d/l the game from Plink about 2 weeks ago.
Easily the best Star Trek ever seen!!
However...the NTSC patch cuts the screen
size in half..Hi-Res & some flicker (not to bad)
Problem?? The smaller picture makes the
click-on-the-buttons interface HARD to click on!
U have the option to Pal boot but then some of the
buttons are off screen and out of reach....sigh...
Ive tried booting in PAL & using a couple Pal=Ntsc
utilities in hopes of getting a better fit & a
play screen close to the designed size.
             !!!No Luck!!!
Darn...Darn...Darn...Darn...Darn...ect.
My next best bet is to ask The UseNet Wizards for help.
So how about it Wiz!?! Wave your wand and grant this wish??
            !!!PLEASE!!! (with sugar on top)

I don't have FTP to anywhere, so no Xanth for me. :-( I'll be happy
to mail you the set, if you send a mailer, postage and a couple of disks
though...
