[comp.sys.amiga.games] Spacewar - Anybody Interested?

judd@tramp.Colorado.EDU (Stephen Judd) (11/02/90)

Remember Spacewar, one of the IBM games that was actually fun, even excellent?
Somebody has finally done a version of it for the Amiga. It's a little
different, and some things (like a computer opponent) "aren't in there" yet,
but it is pretty good. I don't remember seeing it on abcfd20, or anywhere
for that matter, so would anybody be interested in me FTPing it there? If
you are, just drop me some email, and I'll actually get around to doing it.

Actually, it was an old PDP-1 game.... but that's just ancient history...

Not necessary: it was posted to comp.binaries.amiga about two weeks ago.
You can pick it up at abcfd20 in
   usenet/comp.binaries.amiga/volume90/fun/spacewar-1.11/part0[12].Z

Actually, it's an old coin-op game that came out long before even Star
Castle did.
