I have received a number of inquiries via E-mail as to how to complete
various levels.  While the game is great, I feel that it is a matter
of luck and perserverence (sp) which will finally allow the player to
get from level to level.  Quite often it can be annoying because while
the person knows they have figured out the level, the way to complete
can be purely luck o the joystick....like I said, very annoying.  I
feel that it should not be this way on a good game like this.  In any
case, for all of you who want them, here are the level codes.  The
cods will get you to any level with full hit points, etc.  Completing
a level is another matter....

1	push the red button on the joystick
2	cddff10006f70 [ One thing to note, however, is  that ]
3	f47cf21000e10 [ due to the quick  written notes, the ]
4	b5fff31001eb0 [ o may be a 0 when in the first three ]
5	d63of43000eb0 [ characters, and on level three,  the ]
6	aolfe53010a41 [ c may be an e.  I can't recall.      ]
7	a250f63010ac1 [ Nonetheless, these will get you      ]
8	e011f730178c1 [ where you want to go.                ]

For those interested, anything that is an 'o' here should be a '0'.  I should
know, I wrote his codes down for him (we're roommates so no pirate flames...).

BTW, you still need the manual protection...

Well, this is a nice try, Mark, but I must say that these don't match ANY of
the level codes in my version.  Therefore, to the reader, beware ... your 
mileage may vary with these codes.

These are the legit codes we got when playing Immortal.  The way the coding
works is that there is a base code for each level, and then a number of
alpha-numerics which tell the interpreter how healthy you are, what items
you have and whether you did certain key things on previous levels.  Your
codes may have been a tad different, but I sincerely doubt they were that
different.  Please plug these in and report back as to whether they got you
where you wanted to go.  It would be interesting to see if my interpretation
of how the coding works is right or wrong.

ps.  What did you mean by "nice try"?

The codes will vary depending on your strength and inventory.  The first
four characters appears to be a checksum.  The fifth is you strength.  The
sixth characters is the level that you came from.  The rest pertains to
inventory, using bits to represent items (I think).  If someone could
figure out the way the checksum is done, some weird combinations could
be done.
