[comp.sys.amiga.games] Two vaporous driving games

1. Vette, by Spectrum Holobyte. I think this has been promised for about
a year now, and it's been out for IBM for several months. WHERE IS IT?

2. Test Drive III by Accolade. Just saw an ad for it; unfortunately, it
was for (yes, you guessed it) the IBM version, and made no mention of
other platforms. It looks fantastic though (I have to admit that 256 color
VGA display is lovely when used properly...) If you haven't heard of it,
it uses solid filled 3D graphics a la Hard Drivin', and I get the impression
there is a tremendous landscape to explore. Someone please tell me the
Amiga version will be out any day now. Or at least that they're working on it.

Why bother with these low-level games. Why not get yourself one of these
mega-games:

  - Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge ( OutRun^2 )
  - Indianapolis 500 ( F18 Interceptor on the ground )

You'll have more fun playing these games. (Not only are they nice-looking,
they are also QUICK and PLAYABLE (seems important to me).

I just thought you had to know before you bought one of those low-life games.

Race 'em,
       Patrick
