He'll tell you how to end the game, of course his directions are very cryptic so I'll give the details below. **SPOILER #2** First you need to go back and RE-read the messages on the twin stone tombs. I'm talking about those rooms that have two square stone "coffins" with writing on them. You must read the verses on each... half is on one; the rest is on the other. Even though you've probably already done this, you have to do it again now. I think they're located in the Prince of Earth's castle, the Prince of Water's castle, the Princess of Air's ice castle, and the Prince of Fire's pyramid. **SPOILER #3** Now go to the firepots and drop everything. Make sure you haven't gotany active spells (like invisible, shield, etc...) and make sure your not in combat mode. Walk in to the firepot strip. That's it! Hope this helped. I had the same trouble here. The clues were just TOO cryptic some didn't make any sense at all. Well seeya!
