Angel wrote me email asking about the speed of Dragon Strike and how it
compares with the IBM version. I tried to email him back but my mailer
choked on his address. Since others may be interested in it I decided to
post:

Dragon Strike is a bit slow on A1000's, 500's and 2000's. But still playable.
On a 486 IBM clone it screams. very fast and smooth. On a 386 16Mhz IBM
clone it is a bit faster (about 40%) and smoother than on an Amiga 2000.
(By faster I mean faster frame rate, the playing speed doesn't really change
too much, it just gets smoother as your machine gets faster.)

On an amiga 3000, it seems about 30% faster than the 386 16Mhz Ibm clone, but
still a bit slower than on the 486.

[A friend and I have been using dragon strike as a sort of benchmark to
compare machines, he is hesitating between an amiga 3000 and a 386 machine]
