I just bought Cyberball by domark/tengen (euro import) as a sports game fanatic I was really looking forward to this. Oh, well guess I'll have to wait for Monday Night Football from Dataeast. fThe graphics iin cyberball are really bad, TV Sports football blows it away easily, looks like 8 colors or less. The sound is not so hot, and buggy, sound continues after the reason for it happening quite often, you don't know what its like to hear a referee's whistle well into play selection. The manual is so-so doing a good job listing all the plays but not explaining the simple things, like "how the hell do you hand off to a running back". On an aside I hate the fact that the game boasts some 30 offensive fomations but randomly picks four for you to choose from at any given time. What about the most important part you ask play value? Well I played my first game with the instructional team and lost 6-0, I played a second game with real teams and won 12-6 in triple overtime, I won my third game 26-6, and the scores went down from there. I mastered the game in under an hour of play time. (a complete 6 quarter game is only about 20 minutes). It took a week or so of play before I could consistently beat TV sports football, and gridiron is still challenging. Advice: save your money. -- Bill Garrett ARPA: garrett@cs.rochester.edu University of Rochester UUCP: {decvax, rutgers}!rochester!garrett Rochester NY 14627 VOX: (716) 275-5605
