Now that everyone's finished Turrican (grin...), has drooled over the
Turrican2 demo on New Xanth and is waiting impatiently for the sequel's
release, what's all your favorite hidden areas and tricks? (Spoiler
warning ahead...)











- Level 1-2: Atop the hill after the falling rocks and before the
area with lightning and waterfalls, there's this large structure.
Climb to the top and play the flamethrower around; you'll find a box.
Jump on it, use the flamethrower again and find another box. Jump on it,
and continue for a while longer. At the top not only will you be powered-
up completely from the boxes, but there are 6 1-UPs waiting for you.

- Level 2-2: Halfway through there is a large empty space with some
green cubes to climb on. There's a large hidden box in here. Don't
destroy it, but instead jump on and then over to the green block with
a sort of a "T" thing on it. Jump on that; it is in fact an elevator and
it boosts you up to an area at the top where six more 1-UPs wait.

My best score so far is c.1,600,000 at the end (with 50 men remaining...
brag, brag.) The end-of-game fellow is much too easy to beat, IMHO;
merely gyro yourself up, and then you can blast away at him, totally
invulnerable. But the ending animation is worth it all.

Oh yes, one more thing: tried jumping on top of the "walkers" in
the Turrican 2 demo...?
