Could it be? Might it be? It is! The Dec/Jan issue of .info lists TV SPORTS FOOTBALL 2 in their Games Coming Soon section! I remember being disappointed when I head the news that TV SPORTS BASEBALL will be postponed until sometime in 1991 due to a conflict with the group that was designing it for CW. But now after TV SPORTS FOOTBALL for the Sega Genesis and rumors about its availability for CDTV, this morsel adds fuel to the fire! I'd don't know about anyone else, but my roommate and I think these two sports games are excellent! They offer the best head-to-head Football and Basketball gameplay of anything currently available. Now, granted, the one-player leagues on both are a joke. I just got done trouncing another basketball team by 80 points and my roommate routinely crushes football teams in the same manner. But the one on one games (or teammates) just can't be beat! Hopefully TVS Football 2 will offer a higher degree of difficulty as well as HD installation, and maybe even an option to turn off some of the annoying (but neat the first few times) intermission screens. And if they'll just lose the "physically jerk the player from his assigned route to gain control" system like TVS Basketball did. If the computer opponent is actually improved, multiple season records, as well as all-time records would be a plus. This would allow teams to draft new rookies and trade for other players like the fun to manage OMNI PLAY line that suffers from no playability. Does anyone else have suggestions on how this game might be improved and can someone give me more concrete information about either TVS Football 2 and TVS Baseball, and TVS Hockey for that matter?
