[comp.sys.amiga.games] Amiga Omega v1.0 question.

jgh1@unix.cis.pitt.edu (John G. Hardie) (11/30/90)

Hi,

I've been fooling around with Amiga Omega v1.0 from abcfd20.larc.nasa.gov.
Seems to be a nice implementation. NO crashes (yet).

Anyway, I cant figure out wizard mode. I've managed to decode some of the
commands (e.g. Death, Acquisition...), but I would appreciate a complete
list if anyone has it.

Also does anyone know how to get OUT of wizard mode, once you're in it?
(the command list says use '^', but I can't get this to work)

Thanks,
John

Death: Die
Destruction: Blast everything near you, possibly including you.
Acquisition: Get an object
Knowledge: Learn a spell
Skill: Double your experience, or gain 10,000
Balance: Neutralize your alignment
Law/Chaos: Move your alignment in a given direction
Location: Telport you to a general area
Power: Makes mana 10 times your "maximum" mana
Wealth: 10 or 50 thousand gold (I forget...)
Health: Heals you and cures poison/disease, I think

These are all I remember... I haven't bothered with wizard mode recently.
I'm almost that powerful anyway ;-)

You can't. Wizard mode is set in stone, in effect.
I think wiz mode does a few other things, but I don't remember what.
As I recall, it also counts as "cheating"...
;-)

Any similarities to persons living or dead are ... oops

You should also try the new 'Stethoscope' that shows a monsters stat!
