[comp.sys.amiga.games] Finishing off Dungeon Master

elson@otc.otca.oz (Elson Markwick) (12/10/90)

A friend of mine has asked me to post this list of questions re Dungeon Master
to the net. For all concerned, there are a few spoilers contained, so if you
don't want to see them, hit the eject button NOW. Oh, BTW, I'm not sure if I'm
getting all articles posted to the net, so if you could e-mail your responses,
I would much appreciate it. Thanx.

Gudday there,
I've just finished Dungeon Master, but there's still a few bits and
pieces that I haven't completed. I don't really feel like ferreting them out
now that I've finished, but I'd just like to find out where I missed this
stuff. Can anyone out there help me out? Heres a list of the things that I
haven't finished with.

  * 3 of the four doors requiring a turquoise key on Level 6 (tomb of the
firestaff).
(i.e., where may I find the keys).

 * Is there anything to the four dead ends, each containing one of the basic
elements (fire, water air and earth).

* On level 9 (beware my twisted humour, the receiver the snake). There is a
red cross shaped button on the left hand side immediately after passing through
the first door after zooom. It didn't appear to do anything, has anyone else
discovered if it does (if so what?).

* On level 11 (level with the knights), there is a green button (on the
northern wall). This room is immediately after the room containing a Ra key on
this level. Does this button do anything.

* Back up a few levels to level three. There's a coin slot on the wall which
activates a blue force field. However this field doesn't appear to do
anything. Can anyone shed any light on this.

*On level 7 (immediately below the tomb of the firestaff, going down the stairs
which take you down to the bottom levels), there appears to be a set of stairs
up behind one of the walls. The wall in question is down the dead end L shaped
passage. Walk down the passage, but don't turn around the corner. The stairs
are behind this wall. Does anyone know how to get to these stairs.

* Finally, is there a deep meaning behind the scroll which says "The only way
out is another way in" ??

Thanks muchly to anyone who takes the time to answer any of this stuff.
                                                                   Alex.

Cheers, Elson
