[comp.sys.amiga.games] Games on A3000-16

paulb@cbnewsk.att.com (paul.l.bidwell) (12/04/90)

No one replied to my previous query about games on the A3000. If anyone has
a list of what works, and what doesn't, I would appreciate it.

More specifically, does F/18 Interceptor, Jack Nicklaus Golf, MyPaint,
or Where in the ... is Carmen Santiago games work on the A3000?

Any info. will be helpful.

Jack Nicklaus golf works just fine on my 3000.

Sorry I can't help you as I'm pretty much in the same situation as yourself.
Doesn't anybody *have* a 3000, perhaps?
I'd like to see the list of things that are known to work, but perhaps even
more the stuff that doesn't.

Well, I suppose that I could take it upon myself to collect info from netters
about games that do and don't work on the A3000. :)
I have several games that I've purchased for my 3000 that I got to work after
a bit of ripping and tearing. If others would care to e-mail to me solutions
to getting programs (it doesn't have to be just games, I suppose, but that is
the thread of this particular newsgroup, isn't it?) to work and also programs
that they have given up on, I can concatenate them and post them periodically
for those who wish to know. (What am I setting myself up for....)
I've often thought of writing to one or more of the Amiga mags and asking if
they would start a section giving the names of programs that work/won't work
and why/how. If this colletion gets grand enough, perhaps I will send it in
as an editorial letter to get even further distribution to Ami-owners.
