A comment on my survey ---------------------- It is over. I collected all your mails. Don't send new ones. I begun to collect the outcome. The survey was a great success! 52 people seemed to be interested and participated. It is much, though not as much as I hoped it would be, and not as much as could be possible (out of thousands who read news only 52 role-players?). But I am content with the outcome, it was a test, and I am glad that I recieved so many answers. Thank you all! I am a bit disappointed, because there seemed to be only two female role-players. Is that true? I am not of the opinion that women should not play RPG! Well, perhaps next time. And I expected more people from other countries than America. 37 Americans, 5 Australians and 4 germans (and some more). Next time more? I hope so. And something very important: Please read the instructions first before you fill out such a table. Sometimes it was real work to collect the important information from the table. But do not think I am only disappointed! As I said, it was a great success, as you can see from the statistics (I will post it as soon as it is complete). For example, did you know that Wasteland is the most difficult game, followed by Ultima V and Moebius? The whole list will come soon. Be patient, thanks, Efchen P.S.: If you want to comment on the statistics, if you wish to express what you think about this survey, about my initiative, then it is your time NOW! Mail me your opinions. -- /~\ | Martin Friedrich (Efchen) C oo | Postfach 1602 _( ^) | 8520 Erlangen InterNet:mnfriedr@immd4.informatik.uni-erlangen.de ~\ | WEST GERMANY BITNET :98B116@DOLUNI1.BITNET
