Does anyone know how to finish the last level (I think) of Space Quest III? When I've kicked the big robots but, he drops thrue the wall with his head. Me, and my two companions flee to the ship and fly away with it. But the enemy ships follow me and in no time my shields are gone and I'm a floating cloud of spacedust. How do ya beat them ??

I'm stuck. Surprise. I know the following questions were posted recently, but I didn't have the game at the time. Sorry for any inconvenience. Any answers can be e-mailed to me to avoid repetition on the net. I can't figure out how to get power to the ship in the junk yard. I have the warp motivator in the ship and I have put the wires in, but still there is no power. What am I missing? Also, the computer says access denied, is there a way to gain access?
