%Secondly, There is a place where a staircase goes up. At the top are hordes of %golden spiders. NOrmally, these are not a problem for me, but in this %location, anything I try to do to them disappears into thin air. It doesn't %matter whether I try a magic spell or physical attack. However, they can and %do harm me. I have noticed this when I cast from the top of stairs. Is this a bug, or something that the wonderful documentation ;-) just doesn't tell us. To defeat the spiders, just keep hacking away. When you get close to death, go to the bottom of the steps and rest, then go back up and continue hacking. I cast poison cloud spells even though I couldn't see any results. I hoped the spiders around the corner were getting hit. At least it was a psychological advantage for my party. I believe the room is 2x3 and there are six spiders in it along with a keyhole for a skeleton key. -- James Parker (parker@a.cs.wvu.wvnet.edu) /* STANDARD DISCLAIMERS */ WVU ComputerScience | Graphic & Computation | Do not write in this space.
