OK, I've gotten to the DDD level via both KU and ... (thief & fighter) paths. I've thrashed thru the flame pits, traded blows w/ 2 stone golems, got ambushed by some knights, collected some armor, etc. (not in that order, the knights were the last obstacle). When I got to the door that said KU, then got thru, it was a dead end (almost literally w/ the knights!) - what gives? Would someone give me a clue as to where to go next? I was expecting a corbum behind the KU door! I went thru the DDD level including the "trust me" pit, and only found only the one stairway up. RE: DEAD END ON THE KU WAY......After you have gone down the "dead end" passage a few steps, you will hear the DETH KNIGHTS teleport in behind you, cutting off your escape. Approximately 4 seconds after they are teleported, the "dead end" passage will open up. Be quick and retreat ahead of the KNIGHTS past the false end of the passage. So, don't worry about the KNIGHTS, just get through or it will close up again. Trouble is, now you're gonna have to go back to where you last saved, in order to pass through this way. There is another way to bypass this spot, and get to the CORBUM BOMB PILLAR in the KU passage, but you'll be better off doing it this way! Incidentally, the DETH KNIGHTS are not affected by fireballs - at least not enough to do major damage....but since you have defeated them once, you can do it again. The first time I stumbled on this corridor it nearly wiped me out. the second time was pure accident and I cussed the entire time I was fighting those guys. RE: TRAVERSING THE KU CORBUM PATH.....Yes, Jean, this spot can be a killer! Be careful if you return to DDD Main Level this same way, though! Once you step on the square that you teleported the DETH KNIGHTS the first time, it does it for the return!! Hope you're having as much fun with this as I did!! Hey! I think I'll play it again!!
