[comp.sys.amiga.games] ROS vs. NETA paths out of DDD *semi-spoiler*

THAT is your problem! The game KEEPS TRACK of the way you came in! If
you come in via the NETA path, the eye in the wall *WILL NOT WORK*!!

This is how the game acts when you come via the ROS path - the
lightning doesn't work, and you have to kill the skeleton yourself.
There is a cosmetic difference in the room, also, depending on how
you came in - when you come via NETA, the iron gate is *recessed* -
if you were to stand immediately in front of the gate, you couldn't
side-step. If you come via ROS, the wall to the right is gone, so you
can side-step to the right. This is a *smart* game - it doesn't allow
you to just jump from path to path at will...
