Just a little note of interest... LEMMINGS is by the same author as Blood Money, David (Davey) Jones. I think that might have something to do with playability and interest of game. I also think that after writing something like Blood Money, Mr. Jones could have published his software at virtually any company (thank god he didn't go to Electronic Arts, eh?)
