Does anybody else have this game? I've got Full Metal Planet,
and at first it seemed to be a good game.
But now, pooh. The map is always the same; conquering the same
place twice is awfully dull. I measure success not by whether I win, or
by whether I defeat the three computer opponents at all, but by whether
or not I can lift off with over 100 units of ore. I can now always
defeat the computers; usually I manage to lift off with all four
freighters in perfect shape and under my control. That's pretty sad.
There are some awesome ideas in this game. I just wish it was a
little harder to beat. In the end, thought, I find myself playing Ralph
Reed's MechForce, which was half price, sold only throught BBS's and Mail
Order, and has provided literally hundreds (if not thousands) of hours of
entertainment to myself and my three roommates. Why doesn't Reed sell
public?

I just picked up a copy of the game called "Full Metal Planet" last night. I haven't yet had time to do more than just glance throught the manual. I also bought "Lemmings" at the same time. (There goes the VISA balance again ;^( ). Spent several hours having a great time on lemmings last night (But that's a subject for another post). Has anyone out there played "Full Metal Planet" (FMP ??) yet. I haven't seen any discussion on this game here. Would like to here your opinions or tips. -- Jim Tallant / mjt@voodoo.boeing.com / uunet!bcstec!voodoo!mjt / bogey on! ============================================================================== The only trouble with the future is that it gets here so much faster than it used to.
