I've grabbed the TobiasTrek .lzh's from ab20.larc.nasa.gov, unpacked them into two directories on my hard disk, assigned them to STGAME: and STDATA:, but StarTrek won't run. (Whether or not I do patchNTSC first.) It just puts up a "welcome to the game" message and hangs. The System: A1000, Kick 1.3, 512K chip, 2M fast, Stardrive. Anyone have help/suggestions? Many thanks -- ______________________________. /_____________________________/| | Chris Anderson || | chrisa@beldar.ma30.bull.com || |_____________________________|/

I had the exact same trouble. I got it from 128.155.23.64 (presumably the same place, didn't check) I guess a good question is: Where else can we get it? btw, system is : Amiga 500, 1 meg, two drives, and a partridge in a pear tree. slinkie@milton.u.washington.edu

I had the same problem. (Sorry... I just couldn't resist.) I have to assign STGAME: and STDATA: to the directory, and it works fine. /---------------------------------------------------------------------\ | -Doug Bischoff- | *** *** ====--\ | "I'm not God... | | -DEB110 @ PSUVM- | * *** * ==|<>\___ | I was just | | -The Black Ring- | *** *** |______\ | misquoted!"| | --- "Wheels" --- | *** O O | -Dave Lister | | Corwyn Blakwolfe | T.R.I. ------------- | RED DWARF | \---- DEB110@PSUVM.PSU.EDU D.BISCHOFF on GEnie THIRDMAN on PAN -----/
