[comp.sys.amiga.games] Accessing the other CORBUM PATHS

Hi, Andy. Well, you're right with your logic. Getting to the other
Corbum Paths DOES require going up a level and coming down again!
Except for DAIN, you can get to ROS and NETA by the following method:
On the DDD main level, there is the inscription "fighters charge".
Directly SOUTH of this inscription is a pressure plate, and SOUTH
of THAT is a pit. You cannot close this pit by standing on it or puting
an object down on it. You must use on of the ROCK CREATURES or a VIPER
DEMON to close it for you. I would use a ROCK CREATURE, because the
DEMONS are considerably more dangerous! After you have got the pit
closed, place a chest or some other useless object on the spot you
are standing, with the stairs UP to your left. You can now step onto
the square in front of the stairs and ascend them. Once at the top,
you will encounter HELL HOUNDS and GOLEMS, dispatch these, and after
solving a puzzle or two, head to the NORTH down a passage with cul-

de-sacs in the sides. You will come to some stairs. Descend them and
you will find yourself on the other side of the uncloseable pit at
the NE extremity of the DDD. Descend the stairs there, and this is
the area with the entranceway to the NETA CORBUM. Solving the puzzle
will be up to you! Just past this door is an 'eye' Hold any object
up to the 'eye and this will close the pit next to the stairs on the
DDD main level. Closing this pit gives you access to the 'teleport
corridor w/the square buttons. Past this is the entrance to ROS.
Backtracking.....when you got the ROCK CREATURE to stand on the pressure
plate and got accross the pit, there is another spot that has a keyhole
and a teleport w/the words "value for valuables" Solving this will
open up a section of wall, and using the CROSS key in the keyhole
there, will open an iron door that blocks your way to the DAIN CORBUM
entance. (WHEW!!) If you have any more questions, just post. I read
the USENET twice a day!
