everal "small" questions, 1) The "death knights" who turn into armour when ya kill them, Is this armour cursed? OR is it OK to use? 2) The Dragon - How many Hits does this Bugger have? I've walloped him 12+ times with that NASTY ax, (Doing 180 pts once) and Posion potioned him like Crazy! (With time stop) And the Bugger WON'T Die! 3) Do monstrers heal in this game? 4) Does hitting a monster in the back work better? (Seems so) 5) IS there a way to stop those Dang! lobsters from re-appearing! ---------- Look simple questions about Game mechanics! -- yorkw@ecn.purdue.edu Willis F York (Hope THIS sig don't insult anyone!)

RE: SOME QUESTIONS ON CHAOS..... (1) The DETH KNIGHT'S armour IS cursed, and athough I have no actual PROOF of this, I believe that wearing the CURSED armour has the same effect as wearing none. Their swords are also cursed, as is the BITER blade on the altar of the KU PATH. (2) I presume you mean the RED DRAGON in the bottom Level? Yes, this one takes a lot! Keep at him with FIREBALLS and dodge around him whacking away with an axe while your MANA regenerates. (3) No, the monsters don't heal after a while. (4) It makes no difference where you attack your monster: what DOES matter is the hit points that will flash on your weapons screen when you hit them. (5) Lobsters? They're SCORPIONS. As in MANY areas of CHAOS, they re- generate when you step on a particular spot on the floor. OK? Always examine an item by holding it up to a Champion's "Eye" before deciding to use it... especially nasty things like Deth Knight armor..! Monsters regenerate their health points, but at a far slower rate than you do... thus if you slam a door in their faces and sleep to get back your health, you don't have to worry that they'll be fully rested too.. but if you leave an area and come back much later, the monster may have regained his health... The Dragons are tough to kill... if you find a stairway nearby, you can run up and rest, or use the "up and down the stairs" method of running down, blasting him, then running back up before he can roast you..
