I think we can all nominate Rainbow Arts as the outstanding software company for the amiga now. They just released Turrican 2. After several days of playing it, I can make some comments and comparisons to the first one: Music: Very high quality (boasts 7 voices...but I haven't counted this many) Excellent use of parallex scrolling Very smooth and fast scholling Music tunes themselves are not as good a Turrican The graphics are of incredible quality....your character is animated better than the first turrican....enemies are great. The boards are not as orignal or fun as the first one, but the game is still a blast. Overall, Turrican 2 is better than the first. In addition to being the guy, you have a sequence where you are a ship in a SEU (the main guy on this part is IMPOSSIBL[C!!). Wonderful game... So far the top 3 games of the year: Lemmings Speedball 2 Turrican 2 If these titles are any indication of what is to come, we are in for a hell of a year Ryan Newman
