BN1 9QH \X// | ccfe7 @ cluster.sussex.ac.uk I had the best luck starting in the beginning scenerio with Temulin and playing the market to gain money and buying soldiers and placing 60% or so of those in the population. This takes at least 5 to 6 years, also during this time work on Temulins' skills and wait for the moment when a plague hits the country just above you and restructure and attack. If you have Temulins' skills high enough challenge the leader. This save population. If you work it right you can have 4 to 5 years before you turn 50 to build up a stock pile of jewels, metal, silk etc. which you can take to the next level before you have another general in a country other than your home base crush the last country. This leaves you in the best condition to start the next level. Make sure you have all the best young canidates with you and hopefully you work to have only girls children. Good luck Craig Thompson
