Hi all, I had the corbum from the alter with all the pits around it, but when I walked past the shimmering door it opened, thus releaving me of my corbum. WHY ? I also used the lockpicks to open the door requiring the skeleton key in the room that can be sealed off by the two doors in the corner (top most level), only to stumble upon a skeleton key on the other side. (the room with all the coin slots.) Can I wear the lockpicks out, like some other stuff you might find in CSB ? Dont beat around the bush, hints are fine but I'm more desperate !! :-Q (dead look) P.S. Speed boots any good. & Aint that serpent staff phun !!! - Dean +------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ Any opinions in the above could be those of my boss, but he don't 'fess up to nothing.

RE: 'LOSING' THE CORBUM......Just doesn't happen, dear chap! The 'shimmering' door to the FUL YA PIT level will open as soon as you obtain one CORBUM. Check your possessions again. Could be there! ALL shimmering doors willalthough you only have a CORBUM from another WAY.....You MIGHT have accidentally dropped it just after you grabbed it, but didn't notice....check the level immediately under the CORBUM PILLAR level. There's even a chance that it has fallen through to the large RED DRAGON area, down a couple of levels! I'd check that out, too! You just happened to find the SKELETON KEY there - it's a RANDOM ITEM. LOCK PICKS MIGHT out, but they are not a magic item, and would last the same as any other tool (like a sword) -- Stewart Mckinnon - via FidoNet node 1:221/171 UUCP : watmath!xenitec!zswamp!178.0!Stewart.Mckinnon Internet: Stewart.Mckinnon@p0.f178.n221.z1.fidonet.org
