To answer a couple of Vicious Rumours, I called the Hobbit Hole BBS in Florida
and asked the SysOp if Ralph Reed was in Saudi.  The SysOp told me that RR is
a civilian!

I am going to post descriptions of five of my best custom mechs.  The first two
are scouts, the last two are heavy fire mechs and the middle one is dual 
purpose scout/fire.

1. Swift		20 tons

This is in reply to two people who asked me to post descriptions of my best
mechs.  They are all good general purpose mechs, fast, generally well-armored
and heat efficient, and able to mete out and absorb tremendous amounts of
punishment.  All except the first two have jump jets... but they are F A S T !

They are all "semi-legal;" none of them are overweight, and none of them mount
two of the same weapon in one location! (Think of the fire control problems of
a mech with nine or ten SRM deuces + energy weapons!)  On the other hand, I 
allot armor and ammo by the quarter ton, instead of the half ton and ton, 
respectively.  Also, the power ratings of my mechs' engines are NOT NECESSARILY
even multiples of the mass of the mech in question!

5. Lawgiver 75 tons 320 points


An interesting variation on the LAWGIVER is to replace ALL weapons with
two medium lasers, one PPC and three or four small lasers... AND an extra 10
heat sinks for a total of 22 or 23!  This allows you to put out a STAGGERING
amount of fire!
