I got alook at Shadow II in a local store. Tried it on their Amiga 3000 and
it went through the opening animation fine, but after start of gameplay the
screen went real funny and crashed. Tried ti a few times and after a jump the
game would go real funny and crash. Someone insists that Shadow of the Beast
II DOES work on the 3000, but it did not where I tested it.
Is shadow II suppose to be A3000 compatible?

Howdy. Well, I'm stumped. Where do we find the 6th treasure chest? How do we get the rock that we busted with the crane over to the teeter-totter thingy? How do we get up to Ishran? I've done everything else (I think). I'm on page four of the walk-thru I'm writing, and will post it as soon as I get this one room figured out. Has anyone else been able to get into the hole under the tree root on the immediate right side of the pygmies? There's nothing much down there, but some strange stuff happens if you jump out to the right, then go left. Try it. T.I.A. Rick W.

How do I get across the Eastern Sea in Beast II? I gave both the ring and parchment to the old man and got his spell, but don't know what to do from here. Is the 'horizontal' key (found just past the pit and monster in Ishram's territory) useful for anything on the starting continent? Final question: what good is collecting gold coins? Can I actually buy something with them? (The docs mention that I should be able to buy weapons.) I've tried to buy stuff from the innkeeper, but he doesn't seem interested in selling anything. I am asking for specific help with Shadow of the Beast II ... which
may include spoilers ...
Question 1) Where is the Old man's ring? I can kill the goblins
who appear, but they don't have the ring ..
Question 2) Does anyone know where the sixth chest of gold is?
I know I need all six
to pay the catepillar, but I can only find five chests ...
2 chests near the Guy who fires green gobules (1 chest on his platform,
another just above him in the alcove)
1 chest _approaching_ the Karamoon Oasis (where you fight the tall guy
and knock him into the Acid)
1 chest up in the area where the elevator takes you (the elevator
you use by hitting the upper or lower lever)
1 chest under the "good" dragon ... (the chest you get just before
you get the scroll)
My intuition tells me the final 6th chest is in the Oasis (the Inn) behind
a door ...
