RE: PIT STOPPING USE OF GOLD KEY.....Boy, Don! You really have got some unusual questions! It's my opinion that you're out of luck! I think you missed out on some great treasure there! What you should have done is gone back to your last saved game after you fell down the pit. There is a door on the ROS way that needs a gold key. I have used the lockpicks and fallen down into DEATH ROW. Now, that was a long time ago (many moons and no longer recoverable on a save game disk), and I have come upon this door again. I now have a Gold key to open it, but there is an open pit under the Gold lock preventing me. What can I do besides start over? ..Don
