[comp.sys.amiga.games] King Quest IV

What is supposed to happen when the screen says

"Darkness falls over you like a heavy piece of ---" or something
similar I cannot remember, anyways..it was a little more eloquent.

Does this mean I have taken too long? Is the game over? I have
just gotten the fruit from the tree and when I walk back that screen
pops up...and it just sits there...

also...I spilled a bit of Sprite on my keyboard and my 't' is really
sticking..what can I do to unstick it?

Try taking a paper clip an bending it so two prongs come down on either
side of the key with tiny hooks on the ends. Hook them under the key, and
apply gentle, even pressure till the key pops off. This can e tricky
and dangerous for you keyboard so try and find someone who knows how
to do it well... then clean away with anything except sprit ;-).

Well, I popped the key off, and then discovered I could not scratch the
Sprite bits away because they were in the shaft of the key itself...so I
took some of my disk head cleaning solution...and poured a tiny drop or two
down the sides of the shaft...I wonder..was this prudent at this juncture? I
mean, when it dries, it wont utterly and completely destroy my key, will
it? I am glad I got your message because I was about to pop the whole
machine open...wooo! Thanks.
