[comp.sys.amiga.games] Lemmings: Taxing Lvl 7 help

IP06106@PORTLAND.BITNET (03/23/91)

I need soem help with Taxing 7, Every Lemming for himself.. There aren't
enough bridges to span the one-way block AND the the islands, and since I
can't get the one climber to turn around I'm stuck...

Try making two climbers instead of one. Turn the first on into a blocker.
That'll get the second one to turn around so you can have him dig through.
Then you'll have enough bridges to get across the islands.

Well... I admit, I had to think a while for this one..
Let the climber build just before the small hill after the one-way block.
If You build close enough, he can't get over, and he'll turn around.
Elementary, dear Kinsey! :)

Use _one_ bridge close to the small block, this will make your climber
turn.

Spoilers follow-----

Make the 1st lemming a climber, make the 2nd a blocker before he reaches the
one way block. Just before the 1st lemming reaches the little rock at the end
of the plain. make him a stair builder. he will hit the rock and turn around.
make him a basher to dig thru the 1 way rock. when he its the blocker he will
turn around and head for the islands. 5 stair builder is enough to cross the
islands if you are careful. when the 1st lemming starts on the last stair to
the exit, blow up the blocker, you only have 3 minutes.
