- A couple of points: OAG electronic addition, although not publicized, is free! True, they charge 20 cents per schedule screen, 30 cents per fare screen, 10 cents per minute, but you shouldn't really ever get a bill from them. You see, every time you: 1. Book a flight through OAG EE 2. Cancel a flight booked though OAG EE 3. Confirm a flight booked through OAG EE That entire session is free. This includes connect time, and any other charges. I have a reservation in there for January 1st that I review every time I login. The customer service person confirmed on the phone that most people do this and that they don't really care!(?) ---------------------------- Here is an amusing story about something I did last week: One of the major carriers is offering a special to all involved in their frequent flyer program: For every seven flights you take between March 1st and April thirtieth, you receive a free roundtrip ticket anywhere in North America they fly. I was in Miami and already had taken four trips. It was cloudy outside and had some free time. I was checking out some fares on OAG EE, fll-ewr, mia-ewr, etc. and I accidentally asked for fares from mia-fll (for those of you who don't know three-letter-codes, fll=Fort Lauderdale, mia=Miami, ewr=Newark). I noticed that Eastern had $25 fares. Well, since I had so much time, I spent the day taking flights from Miami to Ft Lauderdale and back. Incidentally, the flights were full (they all continued north). Although jet-lagged, I was quite proud of myself. I got a laugh when the woman at the counter asked me if I would be needing a rental car, and how many bags I would be checking! #Ron
