[comp.sys.amiga.games] Any news of sequel to Buck Rogers: Countdown to Doomsday ?

Does anyone know if SSI is planning to release a sequel to Countdown
to Doomsday - This certainly seemed to be suggested in the game manuals.
Any information about a follow up scenario would be greatly appreciated
(especially a release date).
