I won the championship in Division 1. I kicked the living daylights out of number one ranked Super Nashwan, like 140 to 12. Fatal Justice fell victim to my superior strength (knocked out 4 of their players), and were crushed by a whopping 200 points. Turbo Hammers were more like Turbo Sissies. While I was in Division II, I was often beating teams by 300 points. Having conquered the League, I tried the CUP, and won that fairly easily. The team mananger mode is my only remaining goal to master. Knockout isn't as much fun since you can't get star players. Strategies for Dominating Division II: 1. Get control of score multiplier 2. go for the stars. If you light them up close, at a Normal (perpendicular) angle, the ball won't bounce away from you and you can light up all 5 time after time (40 points for each set of 5 since you have your multiplier!) 3. Don't waste any money developing your average players. Go for the star players. 4. For the first couple of games or so, don't go for winning. Try to get as many coins as you can so you can get star players. Once you get 1 or 2 star players, you should be able to get more coins more quickly (because they're so much faster), and still win by a whopping margin. Losing a few games doesn't matter, if you're going to be kicking butts by 200 points later on. Stratgies for Division I: 1. Since there is limited number of games, you have to be able to pick up coins (to buy more all-stars) and win. as far as buying stars, I only kept 9 on my roster. I kept the 9 best players of ALL the stars that are available on the market. I don't use any stars for subs, since I rarely need them. Once you get a feel for who the lesser stars are, those are the guys you want to trade in for a better quality star. 2. Take control of the score multiplier. 3. DON'T try to light up the stars. The division 1 players are just too good. If you lose control of the ball, they'll take control of the score multiplier (because it's right next to the 5 stars). 4. Learn how to pass well. Even if you have the faster player in the league, the opponents can usually slide and tackle you if you hang on to the ball for more than a couple of seconds. Pass the ball up the field, and score goals. You can finesse the goals, or you can power it through by tackling the goalie after he blocks your shot). 5. SCORE LOTS OF POINTS! Even if you can beat the top teams, you will never win the league if you don't score lots of points, like at least 100 points a game avg. Because the top competitors score megapoints against weaker teams and build up quite a big lead as far as team standings go. You get 1 point toward your standings for every ten points you score, and you only get 10 points toward your standings for winning a game.

I've been hearin a lot about these games; Gods, Speedball(/II), and DL'ed the Gods demo (I have yet to get it locally). What exactly are they li,e? I mean, I hear that they're awesome, buy them now, devote your life, etc... What kind of games are they? Adventure/Action, eh? Also, what exact packing program is using the .dms ending? Thanks a million. -CC bconnor@hpuxa.acs.ohio-state.edu -- ***************************************************************************** * /\ /\ /\ | /~_ /\ __ | /\ /\ /\ The proud and the few. * * /~~\ / \/ \ | \_/ /~~\ | \/ \/ \/ bconnor@hpuxa.acs.ohio-state.edu * *****************************************************************************
