Sorry to post, but my mail couldn't get through. Hmm. I also seem to have deleted the failed mail and the original article, so I don't know who was asking. Anyway... The poster was asking how to get Amiga Empire to work with some custom serial network he had set up. If your network connections can respond as if they were a standard serial device, then you need only start up SerEmp giving it the name of your device and the unit number for the connection, and you are done. See the documentation on SerEmp for the flags needed. If you cannot do this, and the local client, Empire, will not start up correctly from a shell coming in from your net, then you will have to write a new client program which interfaces between your network and the Empire server (EmpServ).
