[comp.sys.amiga.games] Parallel to dual joystick interface

mhuang@polyslo.CalPoly.EDU ( Hunter*** ) (05/29/91)

I posted this earler, and I'm still looking for a response. I'm looking for
a schematic (at least something simple to go on), for a parallel port interface
that allows two additional joysticks to be used with an Amiga (such as with
games like Gauntlet II).

		-----------+
		   Amiga   |     ___----joystick 3
		 (parallel |--===___
		  port)    |   ^    ----joystick 4
		-----------+   |
                               |
                           Interface

Please e-mail me a reply, if you can at mhuang@polyslo.CalPoly.EDU.

Thanks!
Hunter--->

	I saved this off since I thought I might use it later. Here is the
article in it's entirety.

I hope it isn't too late, but here it comes, the ultimate 4-player adapter!
(This is for Amiga 500/2000)

		PARALLELL-PORT  25-Port

				1 1 2 2
		2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 1 3 4 5
		| | | | | | | | | | | |
		| | | | | | | | | | | |
		| | | | | | | | | | | |
		1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 6 6 8 8
		a a a a b b b b b a b a

		a = Joystick 3
		b = Joystick 4  9-Ports

I like letters, so feel free to write to NV89-RBI@NADA.KTH.SE, as you try
this marvellous thing.
