After SAVing a rather "dead" party (as opposed to LOADing a perfectly healty party) I got curious about how the chars might be stored. In short I ZAPped the save file and after a bit of digging around I was able to find most of the attributes for each character. I then spent a couple of afternoons hacking an EOB character editor program. It'll either DISPLAY, RESURRECT or SET a specified characters' attributes (STR, INT, WIS, DEX, CON, CHA, HP, LEV, EXP) upto "normal" maximum values. I plan to send it to ...amiga.bin/sources but I was wondering (given the current paucity of postings there) if I could post it here, first (you'd get it w/ a couple days as opposed to weeks)? W/ sources & binary lharced & uuencoded it should be << 10K. PLEASE respond via email. If we save the net discussion maybe I won't get flamed by (*too* many) net.bean.counters for posting the program should there be enough interest. -- =============================================================================================== Steve Kelley UMCP CS/UMIACS Internet: skelley@umiacs.umd.edu Usenet: uunet!umiacs.umd.edu!skelley
