[net.railroad] correct figure for standard gauge

prgclb (12/10/82)

An earlier netnews article on HO scale incorrectly stated
that standard gauge is 4 feet, 9 and 1/2 inches.
Perhaps the author just made a typo --
The correct figure is 4 feet, *8* and 1/2 inches.

To add some trivia and confusion --
some streetcar lines do not use standard gauge.
I believe Pittsburgh and Philadelphia are two
notable cases. I've heard they use something
called "Pennsylvania Trolley Gauge," which is
5-feet, 2 inches (give or take a fraction).
