[comp.sys.amiga.games] Runes on first level EOB

Hi.  This is my first post, so I hope it got through O.K.
I have explored all of the first and second levels in EOB. (As
far as I can tell, anyway), but I have not been able to figure
out what the runes on the first level mean.  I have tried
sticking things in them, and throwing things at them, but
nothing has given any response other than "This rune is
unrecognized."  Please E-mail me with any hints as to
their meaning or function.
