Racal InterLan is now including its internally-developed EtherScope network analyzer/monitor on the driver disk for the MacConnect series of Ethernet cards. EtherScope (currently) decodes Appletalk and IP packets, monitors network performance, utilization, and statistics (packet types, sizes, error tracking, etc.) using a *full* standard Macintosh interface. EtherScope is also fully MultiFinder-aware; with multiple boards installed, more than one EtherScope can run simultaneously on the same machine! It is also 32-bit clean. Running with 2M of memory, EtherScope can capture and display over 12,000 packets in memory. EtherScope is fully functional with all of the MacConnect series; the NIA310 thick/thin, the NIA310-10BT 10BASET, and the new NISE and NISE/30 for the SE and SE/30 respectively.
