Gatekeeper Aid 1.1 Announcement ------------------------------------ Version 1.1 of Gatekeeper_Aid (part of the free GateKeeper anti-viral package) will shortly be released for distribution to stop the MDEF C virus (the most recent version of Gatekeeper, version 1.1.1, while designed to recognize previously unknown viruses, is unfortunately not completely successful in stopping MDEF C). Gatekeeper_Aid 1.1, when present in the System Folder during start-up of your Macintosh, acts to intercept and remove MDEF A, B & C infections from any files or disks you happen to use in your normal work, augmenting the capability (already present in version 1.0.2) of detecting and removing known WDEF and CDEF strains. NOTE also, that Gatekeeper Vn. 1.1.1 actually does stop the MDEF A & B strains already, achieving its design goal to anticipate and intercept SOME previously unknown viruses, and that updating Gatekeeper Aid had thus been unnecessary until now).
