As a result of a software evaluation program, we need to establish an image (header) format standard. Our primary interest is with infrared images taken by surface navy vessels. To date, our experience is limited to the NATO format and a few custom in-house 'non-standards'. The NATO format is sufficient for our use, but we wonder how it is viewed by the rest of the community. Please send your comments to the address below and we will summarize to the net.
