I am trying to convert a PCX file generated with Microsoft Paintbrush under windows 3.0 to a portable bitmap for display on an X server. I am using Jeff Poskanzers utility pcxtopbm but when I convert the file it says ignoring extra junk and then the new file is no good. Are there any tricks to get this utility to work? Also is there any way to take a pbm file and convert it to a pcx or windows paintbrush readable format? ( the doc's for pbmplus say currently not available but they are dated Dec. 1988 ) Any suggestions would be appreciated. Kevin. -- Kevin Meek kmeek@cti.com
