This is the first Call For Votes for the creation of the newsgroup comp.graphics.research. These issues are beyond the usage and interaction with current software packages or particular hardware platforms, and the simple techniques and ideas typically discussed in an introductory computer science and graphics course. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- VOTING PROCEDURE: Mail your vote to one of the following addresses appropriately: YES votes: yes@barkley.berkeley.edu NO votes: no@barkley.berkeley.edu Corrections: oops@barkley.berkeley.edu Do _not_ post your vote to the net -- any such votes will be ignored. DEADLINE: All votes must be received by 11:59 pm PDT (GMT -0700), Jul 10 1991. A sorted list of voters will be posted each Thursday beginning Jun 20, so that you may verify that your vote has been received. The full results will be posted Jul 11 1991, along with a breakdown of the votes received.
