Thanks to all that suggested I use BSD's math lib, which has
been tahoe'd and is thus "free". I will do exactly that.
On other fronts, still working on unifying all this stuff (seems
everyone and his brother has their own version of foo.c) and getting
the fig-forth ROM working. All the forth stuff works, I'm just now
trying to get all of Bruce's monitor features folded in ("1000 500 DISASSEMBLE")
and tested. I'll let y'all know how this goes. I also made the somewhat
misleading remark that "Bruce's new rom scsi code didn't work." Sorry, all,
I was referring to a prerelease he was kind enough to send me. The
one he posted to the group apparently works, and I shall test it tonite.
If that all works fine, I will be using Bruce's new scsi_{hi,low} routines
in the next release of the stand-alone library. You will need this
library to compile the forth ROM.
To Bruce: Looks like we have a mail problem again. I sent you
several acks to the pre-release code you sent me, but you
apparently never got them. Sigh. Do you have another mail address?
