Fischertechnik 3-axis educational robotic arm for sale: o Includes 3-axis robotic arm fully assembled and working can be rebuilt into all kinds of creations o Interface kit for Apple II series and IBM compatables (parallel port required for IBM, plugs into joystick connector on Apple) o Interface can be used for any number of electronics projects. It has 4 motor outputs, 8 digital inputs, and 2 analog inputs works with other Fischertechnik kits as well. o Power supply for interface and arm o Software for IBM and Apple II series. All software in BASIC with assembly driver code. Source for the driver code is included. Several BASIC programs do different things. You can "teach" the arm to do this and that, save, load, etc. Easily customizable. o All documentation, assembly instructions, etc. in German and English The original price was close to $500. I am asking $200 for everything. It's been in the closet with a plastic bag around it (keep the dust off) for over a year, so I have decided to sell it. It worked great last time I tried it out, I have just outgrown it. It's great for teaching kids electronics, robotics, engineering, etc. The arm itself is a bit like a combination between an erector set and legos but much more "solid". It's pretty precise since it uses IR emitters/detectors on either side of a spinning wheel with stripes on it -- it can measure distance this way. Pretty neat setup. Leave me some mail if interested.
