[comp.robotics] Parts catalogs

I would like to know if anyone has a source of surplus/economical electrical/
mechanical parts, ie. servos, gears, controllers. Anything that might aid in
the contruction of a robot. I do not want ready made robot kits, but a company
that both builds robots and supplies parts would be nice. A good source of
surplus parts would be good.
